Floc is often misunderstood for a simple reason:
- people don't really know what it is.
Many think it's a wine, others a spirit... when it's neither.
In reality, Floc is a blend of grape juice and Armagnac.
As a result, it's lighter than a spirit, more aromatic than a wine, and quite unique.
Second point: its taste.
Since it is sweeter, some find it "too sweet" at first.
But often, it's just a matter of serving.
- When well chilled, Floc is much more balanced and refreshing.
- Served too warm, it can quickly seem heavy.
Finally, there is a real lack of explanation around the product.
It's served, but we don't really explain what it is or how to drink it.
So naturally, it is poorly perceived.
In the end, Floc is not complicated... it is just poorly presented.
And once you understand how it is made and how to drink it, everything becomes much clearer.
